Requirements

The following requirements must be met in order to pass the course:

Clarification: Lab 3 contributes a total of 25 percent/points to the final grade (10% from Lab 3a and 15% from Lab 3b).
Getting a minimum of 40% on Lab 3 thus means that you need to get 40% of the maximum 25 points available, so at least 10 points.
These 10 points can be distributed arbitrarily between the two submissions (keep in mind though that Lab 3a only gives 10% vs. the 15% that Lab 3b gives!).
Some examples: Getting 100% on Lab 3a already gives you the required 10 points. If you get 50% (equivalent to 5 points towards the total grade) on 3a you still need 5 more points, which translates into ~33% on Lab 3b.
If you don't hand in Lab 3a at all, you need to get all of the 10 points from Lab 3b, so ~66%.

Grading scale

The grading scale for the course will be:
1: at least 87.5%
2: at least 75.0%
3: at least 60.0%
4: at least 40.0%

Submissions

Please upload files for your submission in → Moodle.

Late submission

Late submissions are possible, yet they will be penalized. Don't get behind in the lab assignments - always start early!
In this course you will have a total of 4 (four) grace days. A grace day allows you to submit an assignment up to 24h late without any penalty. Every further 24h you submit late consumes another grace day.

You can distribute grace days however you like (e.g. one for each assignment or all 4 for the first one). Once you used all your grace days you have to submit before the deadline, as further late submissions will not be accepted → NO points will be awarded.
Grace days you don't use are lost (i.e. no bonus points).
